This past winter Chevron Construction converted an empty commercial location in Brockville into a new restaurant - Freshii. The aim of Freshii is provide fresh and nutritious meal choices that energize people on the go. The menu includes custom-made green wraps, salads, quinoa bowls, and fresh pressed juices. They live by their Mission Green. Taking a stand and being good to the earth by eliminating traditional industry staples : excess packaging, heavy energy consumption and greasy processed meals.
The 1400 sq. ft. interior fitup included adding a dining area, service line, walk in cooler, prep area and two handicap accessible washrooms. All of the tables, the counter and the concession fridge surrounding were custom built to meet the client's requirements. Chevron Construction worked closely with the client, the Freshii designer, and a local designer to create a "green house" feel for this location. Some special features to help with this look included adding Polygal tiles to the ceiling and boxwood hedges to the wall. A section of 16mm x 24" x 48" Polygal ICE Polycarbonate Multiwall tile was hung below the black ceiling tiles to add some depth and design to the space. To create the boxwood hedge look on the wall by the seating area, 12" x 12" ThermaLeaf Boxwood Mats were attached to the wall. A combination of olive bright and moss green were used.
The official Grand Opening was held on April 11th.
